NOTES ON PLANNING MEETING JULY 2015 FOR PERIOD SEPTEMBER 2015 ONWARDS

Colleagues

We had a very good meeting last Wednesday 8th July with a high level of participation and new ideas. This is a brief summary of our conclusions and way forward.

1.      Meeting with new Nuncio HE Mgr Roberto Cassari – Date to be announced.

A courtesy meeting is being scheduled with the new Nuncio HE Mgr Roberto Cassari. Members are welcome to join us for this meeting. Dates and time will be given in due course.

2.     End of Year Holy Mass and Dinner – 11th December 2015 (Friday)

Fr Joe Galea Curmi will be co-celebrating Mass on the 11th December at 18.30 hours possibly at the St Anne Chapel at St Elmo. This will be followed by dinner together. Spouses are invited. More details later.

3.     FCAPP International Consultation Meeting in Malta – 29th and 30th January 2016

Following the various meetings that the “Dublin Group” (FCAPP think-tank) had in the Vatican, Dublin, New York and London, the Governor of the CBM Prof Josef Bonnici has invited the group to the Bank for a closed discussion meeting. Around thirty economists, bankers, politicians and scholars from around the world will visit Malta for this round-table conference. I urge you to save these dates as we will be holding social events and Mass with the Group. Archbishop Scicluna will participate in these discussions.

4.     Ethics and Leadership Course – January 2016 onwards

Mark Demicoli will be coordinating this training programme aimed at executives and management in January and February next year. The course is being organised by FCAPP and the Pastoral Formation Institute and held at MISCO on six consecutive Mondays. More information later.

I look forward to your pencilling the various dates on your diaries and to meet you on the 20th July for the One Hour of Reflection meeting at Mount Saint Joseph with Fr Paul Pace s.j

Very kindest wishes

Joseph F.X. Zahta (FCAPP MALTA coordinator)
