October 31st 2014: Presentation of the Foundation – House of Lords, London
A presentation on the Fondazione Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice was held at the House of Lords in London on the initiative of Lord Brennan on the 31st of October 2014. The purpose of this meeting was to invite active participation from the United Kingdom in the Foundation’s activities aimed at the dissemination of Catholic Social Teaching worldwide and to promote an open dialogue on the subject.
Participants, including Lord Glasman and Dr Adrian Pabst, have shown enthusiasm for the message and have expressed their support to the Foundation’s initiatives in the United Kingdom.
Foundation’s members Thomas Rusche and Robert Leblanc have described the paths followed in their countries in establishing local groups in Germany and in France.
On occasion of our forthcoming international conference that will take place at The Vatican from 25th to 27th May, 2015 the United Kingdom group will have the initial goal to prepare and discuss a short report on the subject «The future of employment and the “informal” economy» to be delivered at the conference.
As provisional “convener” Marco Gubitosi, a Foundation’s member, will be the focal point in UK (firstname.lastname@example.org) while Mr. Joseph F.X. Zahra will be the Foundation’s member to act as point of reference at Board level.
