Why do many people refuse to believe in climate change or understate its impact? Why is it so difficult to change patterns of production and consumption, culture and behavior? Have businesses, institutions, politicians, the Church changed their policies? How do they assess the impact of their actions on the environment and is there accountability? What about the lack of consensually agreed ways of measuring the cost of sustainability?
